Licensed Attorney: You must be admitted to practice law in Indiana at the time of taking office (ideally already licensed when running).
Residency: You must reside in the judicial circuit (Hamilton County) by the time you assume office. While residency at the time of filing may not be required, you will need to establish it by the time your term begins.
Partisan Candidate: Prosecuting Attorney is a partisan position, so you must file and run as a candidate of a recognized political party—Democratic, in this case.
