Heading 6

Stephanie Jo Yocum

State Representative - H88

for

Fishers

Please note that District 88 also covers parts of Geist, Lawrence, McCordsville, Fortville, and Madison County.

Current Office:

Stephanie Jo loves Indiana and all her fellow Hoosiers who call Indiana home. She has watched firsthand as extreme policies have emerged from the Statehouse causing Hoosiers to face many unfortunate challenges, policies that have resulted in Indiana being listed near the bottom of too many rankings including health, the natural environment, and education. She is committed to ending Indiana's current struggle to entice companies and families to come and/or stay in Indiana.

Stephanie Jo is driven by three core values: compassion, community, and connection. These values guide her through her work to create and solidify strong public education, safe connected communities, unconditional access to reproductive freedom, economic prosperity for all, and the protection of the most vulnerable.

Stephanie Jo is a Hoosier through and through; she graduated from Marion High School and attended Hanover College. Her mother and step-father were both middle school educators, her father a law enforcement officer, and her step-mother a board member and volunteer for many community organizations. Through them, she learned that compassion for others and service to community are not only the right things to do but play an integral role in a joyful and fulfilling life. This learning has driven her to commit her professional career to non-profits. She has more than 20 years of experience in non-profit leadership in education and healthcare and serves as the Chair of the Indiana state commission on volunteerism and service, Serve Indiana.

Stephanie Jo is a responsive and accessible candidate. Please connect with her. You can find a more detailed picture of who she is and what she stands for along with her campaign plans and her contact information on her website. She looks forward to strengthening relationships with her constituents and all those affected by Indiana politics.
