This year, we have the strongest slate of Democratic candidates we have ever had! Now, we need to do our part to help them get elected. Each campaign will have a handful of key members that form the backbone of a campaign. Several of our candidates are still looking to fill those roles. Behind every statewide nominee is a room full of delegates. In 2026, Indiana Democrats will once again gather to decide who represents them on the ballot. Our HamCo Dems Vice Chair has attended these conventions and offers insight, tips, and reasons why you should consider becoming one of the state party delegates.

The models of Hamilton County are starting to make our reps in the state legislature and in Congress quite nervous. Our population, trending more educated and racially diverse than in the past, is looking more and more like a place that traditionally votes for Democrats.
