  • Focus on Public Safety and Smart Justice: Prioritize serious threats to our neighborhoods while promoting efficiency and fairness in lower-level cases, with an eye toward reducing repeat offenses.

  • Build Public Trust in the System: Serve as a clear, steady voice for the law—ensuring decisions are consistent, responsible, and rooted in facts and community values.

  • Collaborate with Community Partners: Work with schools, nonprofits, law enforcement, and mental health services to strengthen public safety from all angles.

Requirements.
  • Licensed Attorney: You must be admitted to practice law in Indiana at the time of taking office (ideally already licensed when running).

  • Residency: You must reside in the judicial circuit (Hamilton County) by the time you assume office. While residency at the time of filing may not be required, you will need to establish it by the time your term begins.

  • Partisan Candidate: Prosecuting Attorney is a partisan position, so you must file and run as a candidate of a recognized political party—Democratic, in this case.
