Hamilton County Democrats Celebrate Fully Volunteer-Funded Office, Signaling Historic Grassroots Momentum

Fishers, IN- The Hamilton County Democratic Party celebrated the grand opening of its new office on Saturday, January 24, marking a major milestone driven entirely by grassroots energy, volunteer dedication, and local donor support.

The ribbon-cutting and open house brought together party leadership, candidates, elected officials, volunteers, and supporters to celebrate what leaders describe as yet another sign of the ever-increasing momentum built by and for Democrats in Hamilton County. This new office provides a permanent place to organize, meet, and build community; something local Democrats have not previously had.

While the party has operated short-term offices for limited periods of time in past election cycles, including during the 2016 election, this space represents a lasting home. It will serve as a hub for canvassing, volunteer coordination, meetings, and voter outreach as Democratic organizing continues to grow across the county.

Notably, the office is fully volunteer and donor-funded, with no financial support from the state party or outside organizations. Party leaders emphasized that the momentum behind the office, and the broader movement, comes directly from concerned citizens committed to strengthening their community and democracy.

“We are very grateful to all the donors and volunteers that made this office possible. It gives us the headquarters we need to focus our work for what matters - helping Democrats win elections so they can improve the lives of Hoosiers.” says Chairman Josh Lowry.
