You might have heard, Republican Dustin Dixon is running to be the Sheriff of Hamilton County. But there's a story that many haven't heard because it has not been reported on this election cycle.
In 2014, a Federal Judge wrote that there was an instance where “Dixon’s force was ‘so plainly excessive’” that “it would be clear to a reasonable officer that his conduct was unlawful.”
This ruling is a public document. On the federal government’s website for anyone to view.
And the local media currently has NOT reported on this story.
