Yesterday We Spoke. Tomorrow We Build.

Updated: 1 day ago

What began as a surge of civic engagement has become something larger: a reminder that organized voters still have the power to be heard in a Statehouse long dominated by a single party. As HamCo Dems look toward the 2026 elections, we are sharpening the focus on restoring balance, rebuilding trust, and elevating the voices that have too often gone unheard.

Yesterday, we saw the power of our collective voice.

With every phone call, postcard, social post, and conversation with a neighbor, you reminded our legislators who they work for. We are stronger together. We are many voices. And we will not be bullied in the Hoosier State. Let’s carry that truth forward as we move toward 2026.

Here in Hamilton County, we’ve been preparing for this next chapter, and we know what lies ahead. We understand the importance of building a legislature that listens, considers opposing viewpoints, and passes laws that genuinely improve the lives of everyday Hoosiers.

That’s why our focus now turns to breaking the supermajority in 2026. When more voices and perspectives are represented, everyone wins. The focus shifts back to compromise. To working for the people of Indiana. To keeping people—not politics—at the center of our legislators' decision-making.

Our work continues. Keep making calls. Writing postcards. Knocking on doors. Encouraging voters. Run for office. Attend school board meetings. Become a Precinct Committeeperson. Donate to candidates in Hamilton County. Join a committee. And most importantly, use your voice whenever you can. This is how change is made.

Yesterday, we celebrated. Today, we breathe. And every day after, we show up—louder, stronger, and more determined than ever.

Let's Go HamCo!
