Our Community is not open to ICE

Hoosiers do not want ICE or DHS to bring its intimidation theater to Indiana. 

Hoosiers know what good law enforcement looks like. We know what it looks like when law enforcement officers work to protect and serve our community.

 What we have all witnessed from DHS and ICE in Minnesota is not that. It is an intentional effort to intimidate, harass, and provoke the residents of Minnesota.  

We all saw the unnecessary violence by masked men that have been given blanket immunity. The way that ICE has conducted itself over the past year has no place in Hamilton County, Indiana, or America. 

Hoosiers also have a long history of opposing the overreach of the federal government. We refuse to allow untrained, masked federal agents to operate unchecked on our streets. This puts every Hoosier at risk, regardless of political affiliation.

The Hamilton County Democratic Party strongly opposes ICE moving into Indiana and will oppose any business or firm that provides them space or supports ICE’s mission.
