Indiana’s Supermajority
Republicans currently control Indiana’s legislative process, including chamber leadership, committee control, and determination of legislative priorities.
The ruling party can gerrymander districts in their favor.
The ruling party has a veto-proof majority over the Governor. They can pass a bill even if the Governor opposes it.
Because the Governor is also a member of the same party as the legislative majority, Republicans have a trifecta in Indiana government.

Ways to Help if You’ve Already Voted
Check in with Fishers Dems about canvassing or phone banking opportunities.
Remind your neighbors to vote - every vote counts!
Keep your yard signs visible. Halloween is a great opportunity to have potential voters knocking on your door!
Wear your Fishers Dems merch as often as possible. Any advertising invites potential conversations.

Poll Watchers Needed
Poll watchers ensure everything runs smoothly and that voters can vote. They cannot interfere with the election process; their goal is to make sure the voting environment is safe and efficient.
Among other responsibilities, poll watchers keep an eye out for the following:
Reminding voters in line at 6PM to stay because they're still eligible to vote
Confirming the correct number of signs per candidate
Ensuring no campaigning withing 50 feet from the entrance of the polls
Reporting anyone who is unable to vote to the hotline
