I Just Moved - Do I Need to Update My Voter Registration?
You've unloaded trucks, broken down empty boxes, and are finally settling in to your new space. But there's still one item on your moving to-do list you need to check off – updating your voter registration.

Where to begin?
First, check your voting status on the Indiana Voter Portal.
This will tell you if and where you are registered to vote. You can also find your polling location, early voting information, and who's on your ballot. If your address does not match your current Hamilton County address you have until October 5th to get updated!
What's best for you?
Pretty simple to register Online
The simplest way to update your register is online. With this option you do need a valid Indiana Driver's License or Indiana State Identification Card number.
To change your address or other voter info through this online portal, you'll need to enter a valid Indiana Driver's License or Indiana State Identification Card number. Be sure to update it by 11:59pm on October 5, 2026 (29 days before the election).
Prefer to register by mail?
If accessibility needs to be taken into account, updating by mail is an option. We highly suggest you do this sooner than later. Take this as your sign to do it TODAY!
You can download and complete the voter registration form and send it to the Hamilton County Voter Registration office at 1 Hamilton County Square, Suite 106, Noblesville IN 46060.
If you are registering to vote in Indiana for the first time and don't have a copy of your Indiana Driver's License, you can submit other proof of residence. This includes a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or government document that shows your name and address.
Be sure it's postmarked by October 5, 2026 (29 days before the election).
Prefer to register In-Person?
You can receive and complete the voter registration form at 1) the Hamilton County Voter Registration Office between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, 2) any License Branch, or 3) any City or Town Clerk-Treasurer's office. Be sure to visit no later than October 5, 2026 (29 days before the election).
