Thomas W. Davis (Tom) born in Noblesville, Indiana, is a lifelong resident of rural Sheridan. After graduating from Sheridan High School in 1981, he pursued vocational and mechanical training, fostering a deep interest in solving technical problems. As a 5th-generation farmer, Tom inherited his family’s farm in 2016, continuing to expand Davis Ag, LLC, which now spans 4,000 acres, raising soybeans, corn, and 18,000 hogs annually.

Tom’s expertise extends to drainage and tile work, a skill passed down through generations. He purchased his first tiling machine in 1992 and has since grown the business to serve multiple counties. In 2023, his team installed over 700,000 feet of tile.

As a candidate for Hamilton County Surveyor, Tom is committed to addressing drainage issues and improving communication, transparency, and project management. His hands-on experience with land and agriculture, combined with his local roots, drive his vision for a better future in Hamilton County.
