HSE School Board Still Needs Candidates

Deadline to file to run for HSE School Board is June 18th

Many of you have have voiced concerns regarding the future of education in our public schools. Now is your chance to advocate for our own public schools by filing to be a school board candidate.


  • Candidates may declare Republican or Democratic affiliation.

  • Candidates may run as an Independent.

  • Candidates may choose not to list any party affiliation.


Please consider running for one of these open positions. We have a chance to make a difference!

Call Governor Braun and Demand That He Renounce Lt. Governor Beckwith's Islamophobic Rhetoric

Last month, Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith made discriminatory and inappropriate comments directed towards those of Islamic faith. Religious freedom under the law is elemental to our nation's foundation, and our public officials have a responsibility to uphold this basic tenet.


To date, Governor Braun has issued only cryptic comments regarding Beckwith's statements. His lack of definitive reprimand sends an ominous message to Hoosiers who deserve equal freedoms laid forth in the Constitution.


Please contact Governor Braun and demand that he renounce Beckwith's discriminatory comments.

Here's Your Script

"Hi, my name is [NAME], and I am a resident of Fishers, IN. My address is [ADDRESS]. I am calling to demand that Governor Braun issue a stronger reprimand regarding Lt. Governor Beckwith's discriminatory and inappropriate comments directed towards those of Islamic faith. Religious freedom is a basic tenet of the Constitution and elected officials have a responsibility to uphold this basic principle. They should not issue statements made to induce fear and hatred in our communities. The Governor's comment, "I wouldn't have said it that way, he'll have to figure out how to get around it, 'cause that's probably not what he intended to do," is not sufficient for a leader who represents Hoosiers of all faiths."
