The State Auditor serves as the chief financial officer of Indiana—responsible for tracking every dollar the state takes in and spends. From paying public employees and managing state accounts to providing clear, accurate financial reports, this office keeps Indiana’s books balanced—and honest.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee billions in public funds
Manage payroll for all state employees
Maintain the state’s accounting system
Create financial reports for public transparency
Serve on key financial boards, including the State Board of Finance

Requirements.
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be a resident of Indiana for at least five years prior to the election
Must file as a partisan candidate (Democratic Primary)
