HAMILTON COUNTY DEMOCRATIC CENTRAL COMMITTEE USE OF HEADQUARTERS POSTCARD WRITING POLICY
We love seeing our members come together to support Democratic candidates through postcard writing! To ensure a welcoming, organized, and effective experience for everyone, please review the guidelines below when hosting postcard writing events at Party headquarters.
Eligibility Requirements
Events must be organized by active Hamilton County Democratic Party members or recognized party groups
Postcards must support Democratic candidates, voter engagement, or party-approved initiatives
All messaging must align with Democratic values and the mission of the Hamilton County Democratic Party
Postcard Guidelines
All postcard messaging must be positive, respectful, and factual
Scripts or sample language should be submitted to Party Secretary prior to the event
Messaging should encourage civic participation and support for Democratic candidates
No negative messaging toward other Democratic candidates or organizations is permitted
Supplies & Materials
Hosts are responsible for providing postcards, pens, stamps, and mailing lists • Party equipment and supplies may not be used unless prior approval is granted • Food and beverages are welcome—please clean up after your event
Scheduling and Space Use [Campaigns Only]
Events must be scheduled in advance with Party leadership
Space availability is limited during primary and general elections outside of scheduled weekly postcard writing.
Please respect start and end times to allow access for other activities
Campaign Limits
Primary Season (Second Monday in January – Last Saturday in April) • Up to 2 sessions per month • Maximum 4 total hours per month for all usage (including calls and trainings)
General Election Season (First Monday in June – Third Saturday in November) • Up to 4 sessions per month • Maximum 8 total hours per month for all usage (including calls and trainings)
