Training Space Reservation Guidelines

The Hamilton County Democratic Party welcomes members, candidates, and partner organizations to use Party headquarters for trainings that strengthen our volunteers, leaders, and Democratic infrastructure.

To ensure fair access and smooth scheduling, please review the guidelines below.

Eligible Trainings

• Trainings must support Democratic organizing, voter engagement, leadership development, or campaign readiness

• Events may be hosted by party members, candidates, recognized caucuses, or approved partner organizations

• Trainings should align with the mission and values of the Democratic Party

Reservation Requirements

• All trainings must be scheduled in advance through Party Secretary

• Requests should include:

  • Date and time

  • Expected attendance

  • Training purpose or topic

  • Any requested equipment or room setup

• Space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis

• Priority may be given to official Party trainings during peak election periods

Training Materials & Equipment

• Hosts are responsible for providing training materials unless otherwise approved

• Use of Party audiovisual equipment must be requested ahead of time

• Outside materials or handouts should be appropriate and non-commercial

Conduct & Expectations

All trainings held at Party headquarters must remain:

• Inclusive and respectful

• Free from discriminatory or offensive language

• Focused on education and skill-building

Trainings may not include messaging that disparages other Democratic candidates, campaigns, or affiliated organizations.

Facility Use

• Please arrive and depart on time

• Return the space to its original condition after use

• Food and beverages are permitted unless otherwise noted — cleanup is required

  • The county party does not serve alcoholic beverages during events

• Use painter's tape only; do not use thumbtacks on the wall. 

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the loss of future space-use privileges.

Equipment

• You are free to use the tables, folding tables & chairs for your event. If items are moved please return them after your event. 

• You are also free to use the sound equipment and TV while in the building.
