Michael Cardwell
Michael Cardwell was born in Tipton, Indiana, and deeply believes in serving the community. After thirty-two years in the United States Army, he returned home with a strong respect for discipline, accountability, and public service.
Michael studied creative writing at Indiana University and is the author of the well-received Coogan Mystery Series. Today, he lives in Indiana with his wife, Roni, where he balances writing, strong coffee, energetic dogs, and eight lively grandchildren. He is committed to thoughtful leadership, responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources, and keeping township government open, practical, and responsive to the people it serves.
